Crossing the PEI Confederation bridge in a regretful state, we headed to Halifax, Nova Scotia to stay with my friend Autumn that I had met in Uganda in 2012! Autumn lives on a lake so we spent the day relaxing in the water and learning how to wake board.

At night we went into town and drove up to Citadel Hill, giving us a great view of the city when walking along the Fort walls. Down in town, we walked the stretch of Pier 21, which is lined with outdoor restaurants and climbable sculptures. We grabbed beers at the hip Stillwell Beer Bar and turned in early.

In the morning, Anna guided us in a lakeside yoga class and we hit the road. Our stay in Halifax wasn't long, but it was a great way to rest up for the long driving days ahead as we cross the country!
