Hi, I'm Juliana! I grew up in the suburbs of D.C. and moved to Los Angeles for 3 years after college. I spent my weekdays working as an Executive Assistant in music, daydreaming of my next adventure and taking advantage of the Southern California landscape. But I missed the Atlantic ocean and returned east in the fall of 2017, relocating to New York City.

Blogging is my version of a souvenir, and it keeps my family and friends in touch with my whereabouts. I can be hard to keep track of. When not traveling you can find me walking, reading, obsessing over music, or working on Shallow Graves projects.

Traveling is a huge part of my life. I've had the opportunity to venture far, but take advantage of my local gems whenever possible; I can discover so much exploring in a new environment, regardless of its distance from home. I take on the challenge of getting lost in new atmospheres and cultures, learning about myself and our limitless world along the way.

I hope to inspire readers who have interests in hiking, camping, backpacking and overall travel! Social media has become an advantageous way to formulate travel plans and get hands on tips, I'm happy to be a part of it. I also have a strong addiction with planning trips, and in order to feed my addiction you'll find me disappearing constantly.

With a hectic work schedule, fresh air is my release and a full tank of gas is my reward. The world is an incredible place and we are all so small, so let's relish in its beauty and enjoy each others stories. Welcome to Mostly Travels, thanks for stopping by!
